Walmart Fashion
I was one of two writers hired to establish and socialize the new Walmart Fashion tone of voice. I joined at a period of high growth for the vertical, and was responsible for managing the quality of and writing copy for brand partnerships (e.g. Sofía Vergara’s fashion line, Sofía Jeans, for which all copy was also translated into Spanish), brand acquisitions (e.g. Scoop), and in-house brand launches (e.g. Kidbox, Free Assembly), as well as helping to create mechanisms for scale including brand tone of voice and copy guidelines. I also worked cross-functionally with the Editorial team to map out trend reports that drove our launch plans and customer communications.
